Hey, it's Rin!
A 21-years-old university student majoring in Journalism at UiTM Shah Alam. Creating stories and reading are my hobbies. I love the peaceful Japanese culture and I hate people who unreasonably put things in categories. Enjoying life by learning a lot of different kinds of new things is a way for me to make a change of my frail self.

Projects and Microsoft Anime Mascot

Assalamu'alaikum.

Hi hi hi hi~ My fever has gone and I'm in a completely perfect shape! Fufu~ uvu) --with a slight cold and a lil bit coughy2 though~

I didn't come to school yesterday and I spent a day at home with drawing & drawing & drawing all day long without any single care of the outside world, ah I'm so carefree~ (。uωu) I'm planning to go buy some more drawing tools tonight..

Okay, letting that aside, me, my little sister and my other two kouhai (which is the members of SMKTHT Drawing Club in Facebook) was suggested to make a card of the upcoming Chinese New Year. The cards will be sold at our school. I don't really oppose to this idea but I think it's better to make a poster rather than a card. Or maybe a postcard or the likes(?), as long as it is not simply just a card? I choose my preference.
About the processing, us four will brainstorm, draw, finish up the final touches in a laptop, save it in a pendrive, send to our advisor teacher and he will manage the rest-- will that works without a single problem? .-. That's my plan though..

*Ehem*

And so, on to the next case, have you watched the latest Microsoft commercial?
Microsoft has their own mascot anime character and it's Inori Aizawa!! Wohooo, cheer, guys!! Haha! XD (I don't know her though).. The video was posted on YouTube 2 months before and yeah, I'm a lil bit late.. Oh well, nevermind-- so, for those who haven't watched the video yet, just go check it out on YouTube!

As what can be referred from Wikipedia;
"Inori Aizawa or Internet Explorer-tan is a moe anthropomorphism character created by Microsoft Singapore in order to celebrate Anime Festival Asia 2013's successful holding. The prototype of her is Microsoft's web browser: Internet Explorer. The character is designed by Waha, a painter in the dojin team Collateral Damage Studios, animation by CACANi, on the same day of which a video of related characters was posted to the online video sharing website YouTube.

Originally, Inori Aizawa was just an original dojin work, whose inspiration came from Danny Choo (producer of Culture Japan)'s reposting moe anthropomorphism images about Safari, Chrome and Firefox on Facebook, published on Facebook on May 13, 2013. Because of the massive focus it received, it was finally adopted by Microsoft Singapore as Internet Explorer's anthropomorphism character, and launched on the AFA."

Anime is just too powerful. I don't know how to tell but, for me, things that are Anime-related is slowly getting into teenagers' mind nowadays u.u) I've found a lot of other kinds of anime character as a company's mascot and the likes. Even comics at Malaysia is slowly changing into more like the Japanese art-style, yes, Anime, that is. I know its going to be something mainstream soon.

---And, you know what? The next thing you're gonna see is..
Anime is ruling the world. (it's not like I hate this though uvu)
