Last Saturday, my family and I went to the well-known water theme park at Ipoh, Perak; Lost World of Tambun. It's not like it was my first time there but I almost feel like so because I've forgotten all the routes inside there and almost got lost when it became crowded. I used to go there when I was small but I only followed my father around so, hahah, of course there's no way I can remember all the routes 😓😗
I had lots of fun there. I also had fun showing Nadhirah & Syakirah around the park. It was their first time there so they were quite amused except for the fact that I dragged them around to find the correct paths to the other pools 😛😗
I can't exactly tell every single thing that I did there because me & my family stayed there from its opening time right until 6:00 pm. Too much to tell and I've got no time here.
The youngest one, Syakirah; I don't think she had a lot of fun there. She even slept on the floating trunk at the waves pool. I don't even know what amused her more other than this kind of thing that kids usually had fun with. I thought she would be the most happiest one in our family that time. In the end, only me and Flip2 were the ones who had the most fun there. Hahah, sorry, mama 😂
Ah, but she seemed to have fun riding the varieties rides at the park 💕
Other than that, I forgot how our entrance fee became RM440. I didn't buy anything at the souvenir shop because of that. I really appreciate my parents for letting this not-so-obedient daughters to have fun during the first week of school though; Thank you 😳
The entrance welcoming part was quite amusing too. There was a few people dressed like orang asli (?) standing at the gate while holding the you-know-what weapon that they use to catch fish in the river traditionally. Well, it's a Lost World of Tambun, indeed. And also, a ghost *slaps* I mean a human dressed like nenek kebayan was also there to welcome the visitors. This mixing theme was because they opened a haunted house there recently to attract more visitors. But, dude, it was too scary to welcome us like that. The kids were running away.
Ah, but Nadhirah was brave enough to take a picture with it x'D
It was a great thing that we were one of the earliest visitors. We didn't have to queue up to buy tickets and wait for the spot check stuff before entering the park. Unfortunately, I didn't find the water slides during our early entrance and ended up having to line up for it when it was crowded. But still, it was worth waiting. Climbing the dragging stairs was also worth it except for the fact that it takes 5 minutes to arrive at the top by walking and 15 seconds to last on each slides.
There was 4 slides but me & Flip2 only rode 3 of them because of the trauma we had during the second ride in the closed one. The closed slide was quite dangerous. The tunnel was 100% closed and it was pitch black inside. We could see nothing in there and that what makes it dangerous because we couldn't see which way we were turning to. The speed almost made my neck sprained itself. I couldn't think of anything else during the slide because my mind was completely occupied with prayers to arrive down safely 😭
FYI, there was 2 closed tunnel. It was because of that we ended up riding only 3 slides. Hahah. I hope there was more for this scaredy cat.
There were lots more things I enjoyed there like the long 600-meter river adventure, the waves pool, the spinning rides, rollercoaster, the exotic delicacies and a lot more. I guess I'll have to stop here. I have plenty things to do right now. My mom just bought me the PIN code for uni registration so, gotta go review some stuff! Thanks for reading and adieu 💕
